The Golden Hour

This particular spot is in the hills above my town of Folsom and looks off toward the west. I love it because of the array of oak trees, granite boulders and gorgeous golden grasses. in the late afternoon to evening the light is luminous and the shadows long. I have painted scenes from this area many times and in different seasons.
