I have been visiting the charming, seacoast town of Mendocino for many years and each time I visit I feel like I've been transported to new England. This view is not of the main street that most people immediately recognize but of one of the side streets. One early evening in spring when the weather had been cold and unsettled, the setting sun touched the clouds and illuminated the buildings. The makings of a painting.
